“Danzoneros" is the artistic documentation set to melodic Cuban rhythms, which shifts from vivid portraits, old world settings and short interviews.
This project is an investigation into the meaning of a shattered passion for dance that is rooted much deeper than just a simple hobby.
For these dancer, the stage is a parallel world they have chosen to enter and dedicate themselves to so that they can escape, if only for a brief moment, from the troubled and chaotic reality of everyday life.
